Denim and leather jacket

Match wash to jacket on purpose, not by accident. Dark jeans with a black or brown leather jacket is the easy path. Light denim with a dark moto needs contrast in the shirt layer or you look like a uniform.

Blue leather with blue jeans only works when the shades are clearly different. Same-tone head-to-toe needs a break at the tee or boots.
