Biker leather jackets

A biker jacket is defined by its moto DNA: off-center or central zip, snap lapels, zip cuffs, and a waist that sits at the natural waist or slightly above. Fashion bikers use lighter hides and slimmer patterning; they look like motorcycle jackets but are not certified riding equipment.

Key features

  • Asymmetric zip on classic moto cuts (not universal on modern bikers)
  • Snaps on collar and lapels to reduce flapping
  • Zippered pockets and sometimes sleeve zips
  • Shorter body than trench or duster coats

Fit notes

Bikers look best with a clean shoulder line and slight taper. If you plan to wear a hoodie underneath, size for that at purchase. Letting out leather later is limited. Pair with straight denim or simple boots; heavy hardware on the jacket already adds visual weight.
